My Journey
Hi, I'm Keeley!
Something important to know about me is that I love activities that involve being cozy. I love to be curled up under a warm blanket with a hot drink in my hand, reading a fun book or story, or watching a variety of movies.
I also spend my time painting, drawing, hanging out with my friends and loved ones, and attempting to pet and snuggle any dog I see.
While I love the cozy life, it's not always just fun and games. I've gone through my share of trauma, loss, grief, and anxieties. I have felt heavy, and lost, and like things would never be okay again. I know what it's like to be in that place, and I also know that with work, and with help, it is possible to find the strength within yourself to be able to rebuild your life in a way that brings you joy. I would love to be a helpful person in your journey to find your way back yourself.
And there's a cozy blanket and a warm drink waiting for you in my office.
My Work
Have you ever felt uncomfortable in your own skin or like you just don't quite fit in? Does it feel like every activity is a struggle, down to the smallest things, like getting a glass of water? Do you sometimes feel like you don’t belong, or that other people just don’t make sense? Most people have moments like that. But if those moments feel like they’re taking over your life, I’m here for you. I work with individual adults and families – whether you’re trying to find your place in the world, struggling with self-esteem, or need help to get through hurt and confusion.
My extensive therapeutic and life experience helps me create a safe, judgement-free zone. As a queer, neurodivergent person myself, I know how difficult and confusing it can be to figure out where you fit into the world. I can help you navigate that journey.
My Specialty
I work with young adults 18 and up, who may be part of the queer or neurodivergent communities, and struggling with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, or figuring out gender identity or sexual orientation. I help families and individuals who are having a hard time feeling close to and connected with one another. I support people by teaching communication skills, working through attachment issues and traumas to strengthen existing connections. I use attachment-based interventions, art therapy interventions, and various types of play therapy in my practice. I can provide education to help people find where they belong in the community and guidance to rebuild self-esteem.
